Welcome to the 13th annual Balloonfest at Tahlequah!

Hamid and Larry have worked hard to put together an awesome course this year.  Lucky for us, the pits are not filled with rain water like last year, so maybe we won't need the fire truck to wash off.  Well, that is if you choose NOT to try that nasty mud pit they built!

So, pull your doors off and let's get ready for the fun......

First we start off with some cool hill climbs.  Daniel and Jordan seem to be enjoying these...

Looks like Jamie has her hand's full trying to wrangle Jack...  As usual.

Now the first group has made it around to the rocks.

As Dave and Larry make their way thru the hills.

Not it's Tims turn thru the rocks in the buggy.

Here comes the other Daniel, emerging from another one of the pits.

Now it's JC's turn on the rock...  Ahh, the sweet aroma of burning clutch... ;)

Dave and Walt take a walk thru the rocks...

Looks like they found the first victim for the mud pit...

There was some complaints of the tractor blocking the view of the spectators, so Charles volunteered to move it out of the way.

Doesn't he look right at home on that tractor...  :)

Well, we've had our fun, now it's time to give the spectators a few rides....

I see Terry is making her way around the course.
Looks like she managed to re-attach the bike rack since her last trip to Disney...

I'm just trying to make the ride a little exciting here... ;)

Hey, what's this!  Steve has volunteered to tackle the mud pit.

So, you had that strap thing all figured out did ya, Steve?.

The girls decided to hide my hat by burying it in the dirt.
Here Kylie show off how great of a job they did cleaning it off for me... :)

Speaking of clean, since Steve was already dirty, he gave the pit a few more tries.
I think he's finally got it figured out....

Well folks, another great year at the Balloonfest.

Again, we want to thank Hamid and Larry for their hard work getting everything set-up and running.  It was definitely the best course yet!

Thanks to everyone that showed up and to the City of Tahlequah for all their help.

And thanks to the organizers of the Illinois River Balloonfest for putting on such a great event...

See ya next year!
