Extreme 4 Wheelin'

Welcome to a warm sunny January day in Oklahoma.  Yes, that's not what you would normally expect for January, but we are not complaining.

We've got a great turnout this morning and we are ready to hit the trails!

It's Deana's turn to drive the buggy today.  I'm joining her playing in a few washes along the trail.

You know, some time we need to start naming these trails.  For now, I'll just call this one repeat since we ran up and down this hill several times.. :)

Steve took over the 4-wheeler for the moment.  He got a little out of shape on this spot.  Luckily he did not pull a Ken and go rolling back down.

Now you don't see one of these ever day.  Dave was not timid behind the wheel of the big Hummer.  He put that beast thru all that place had to offer!

Of course Earl makes it look easy with the Rubi...

Despite being a little banged up, it's not slowing me down much.   Myself, Dale and Ronnie make quick work of Repeat's  ledges.

Now it's the 4-wheeler experts turn.

Like they say, what goes up must come down....

First trip out for Dale with the new lift and 33's.  Looks like everything is working good on the TJ!

Lunch time.  Norms got a great shot from our favorite lunch break spot.  After lunch a few of the guy take a climb to go check out the old car at the bottom of the cliff.

Back on the trail, Deana has picked up a new passenger in the buggy.

Phil is one of the first to start up the ravine.

This is one of the most challenging spots at Gruber.

Daniel working the big IH up the ravine.

Next is Walt in the big Sami.

Next is my turn, with Jordan riding along as my passenger.

Then there's Norm.
Did anyone notice that Norm did not break this time?  A new trend for 2006 maybe??? :)

We've even got a Toyota powering his way up the hill.

This is sure press fit for the Hummer.  But Dave pulls it thru!

One more spot for Ronnie...

Of course this is not a very tough spot for the buggy, but Steve manages to find some excitement for a ride along...

However, the Ravine has taken it's toll on tires!  But it's pretty short work with a few tire plugs.

Parting shot by the Hummer.  Now that's some flex..   ;)

A new feature for this year.  I'm working on some onboard camera shots.  Still working out a few bugs, but here's a few samples to get started.

Thanks to everyone that made it out and we'll see you all next month at Disney!
