WERE BACK... 

That's right, Extreme is back on the Dunes. 
Oh and what an awesome weekend we have in store...

Right off the bat Hamid is having problems with his front axle.   Popping noises and a missing lock-out means he's limited to 2WD this weekend.   But, with that big V8 in there, that's not gonna slow him down.... :)

Norm is attacking a dune, while Hamid is practicing his roost technique!

Look who we have here.  Jack has found his favorite sand box!

Chelsea and Keldon are testing out the sand, as Jayson tries to round up Jack.

Hamid is working on another dune, while Keldon gets the Banshee fired up.

Crystal and Denise are out playing on the 4-wheelers.

Looks like Travis's turn to try and keep Jack in sight.

Oops, Norm.  Dragging the drive shaft in the sand is kinda hard on J-joints...

Right after lunch we kick off the Poker Run/Treasure hunt.  I've hung seven envelopes in trees around the dunes with cards in them.  Everyone now has to find the envelopes and pull a card out of each.  The person with the best five card hand wins the pot!  The challenge is on.....

They all find the first two relatively easy, however the third envelope becomes a problem.  It hung in a tree, right next to the WEDDING party!  Yes, that's right.  Someone is having a wedding on the dunes and they picked MY tree to gather around....  But we are nice, and we wait.....and wait....  So how long does a ___ wedding take?  ;)

We are back on the move, but oops. 
Jamie slipped the tracker into a bad spot.  Time to break out the winch from Norm's.

Ok, at this point I could go into how Norm managed to run over his winch controller, or loose his front AND rear output from his transfer case.....
But, I think it's time for me to air out the 450R instead....  I'll leave the Norm stories to the next meeting...

Yeee.

Well, we all survived the day.  What an awesome day it was.
Now it's time to huddle around the fire.

Except for Hamid, Phil, and Earl.  They are off to their cozy rental house!  So, how did they manage that....

Sunday morning, time for a few more hours of riding before we have to drive back.

Dale is getting the hang of this stuff..

While Cody and Crystal are having a blast on the 4-wheelers.

No surprise here, Hamid is working on his roost again...

Now Phil's turn at the hill...

Now it's time to see what the tracker can do!

Another fun trip to the dunes is over.  Thanks to everyone that came out!  Thanks to Travis for bringing the fire wood, that made Saturday night a lot nicer then the chilly Friday evening!
