Extreme 4 Wheelin'
Little Sahara, June 12-13th 2004

It's an awesome June weekend.
Not a cloud in the sky and we are ready to play in Oklahoma's BIG sand box!

An assault on the dunes is in order to start things off.
Who knew that green Jeep flew so well!

Back in the tails we take turns attacking this high speed donut!

Getting back out can sometimes be the biggest battle, right Larry?

Yea, these things were built more for the 4-wheelers, but Daniel shows us that there are a few 3-wheelers still going.

Jayson horsing around on Keldon's quad. Back to Keldon to show him how it's done...

Back out on the dunes, and Jayson is still perfecting the launch.
As everyone gathers for their turn.

With enough momentum even the truck can run the ridge.

But, straight line attacks are necessary on the big ones.  Hamid's V8 comes in handy here, but it does have a tendency to fill the insides with sand...

About the time it was starting to get a bit warm, a thunderstorm popped up and cooled everything back down.  A little moisture on top makes the sand fast.

Some last playing on trails.  Hamid needs a little tug from Jayson to get off of this high spot.

Man, what an awesome weekend.  June has the potential for being miserably hot, but this was a great weekend to play.  The spring shower Sat afternoon gave us a welcome break from the sun, and made for a great evening and comfortable nights.

Thanks to all that came out, and thanks to Daniel and Jayson for cooking.  We could all tell that Daniel was quite the camping expert.  He came much more prepared and experienced than the rest of us... :-)

So, who's ready to go back?
