Saturday morning at camp.
Ok, it's a little cool, but the sun feels great and it's already starting to warm up.

Terri's getting the Jeep warmed up with a few laps around the dunes..

And now it's my turn.

Hey, the Sami can fly!

Time to give the trucks a rest.

Here Jayson demonstrates his wheelie powers.

And even gets some air...

Keldon and Jordan are having a good time!

Jayson is quite the wheelie expert.

Now Jayson's brother Travis, gets a few runs.

A few more laps from Keldon.
Now that he's got the clutch thing down, he can give dad's Banshee a try.

Steve gets a few quick instructions before giving Jayson's Honda a try...

Ok, maybe just a little too much throttle on the take off...

Well, we move on down the dunes, then realize that Norm is stopped.

Not a good sign when he has to break out the welder!

While we are waiting, we might as well play!

Here Terri gets ready to give the kid's sled a try.

But first, she has to demonstrate how to CRASH!

That was fun, but let's see if she can handle a snow board...

Maybe we'd better let Cassidy show us how it's done.

I meant how to board, not how to crash...

Daniel Palm spotted us on top of the dunes.
His daughter Kylie is eager to give the sand boarding a try...

Kylie contributes with a cool wipe-out of her own.

The fun never ends when you are parked in the middle of a big sand box!

Norm got his steering arm welded back together and we headed back to camp for some lunch.

Hey, it looks like the ladies beat us too it...

After lunch, Terri got flagged down to come help Keith Frost get his buggy unstuck.  Unfortunately, Terri's jeep vapor locked as we were getting ready to leave.  After a few minutes to cool off, we were out on the dunes again...

Ok, now it's my turn to try some jumps while I have the bike out.
Yeah, not real impressive, but I'm still working my way up to the big dunes... ;)

This seemed like a  good time to try out the sled too.
The girls were kind enough to give me a push down the hill.  I'm sure they were not trying to wipe me out or anything.... :)

Back to the trucks, and more fun in the sand.

Late in the evening, the north wind is really starting to kick up.
So we start heading back to camp.

Remember me talking about Jayson's wheelie experience.  Well, he had a little problem with that later in the day.   Next time you see him, you'll have to ask him what the doctor had to say about his shoulder.  Needless to say, he's going to be sore in the morning...

We had originally planned to camp Saturday night and come back on Sunday.  But, with the wind blowing and temps dropping we decided to tear down camp and head back.  With the weather as great as it was Saturday, there was just no room to complain.  I think we all had a GREAT time!

But, before we go, I want to share with you some of the sights.
I got several opportunities to shoot some of the big boys leaping the dunes.

Here's a few shots from the day.

This guy on the Banshee was really flying high!

Speaking of scenery.  Most people think there is nothing to see in western Oklahoma.  Well, I disagree.  It's worth taking some time and looking around.  I took off early enough to sight see on the way down there Friday, and here's a few of the shots I got.

That's just too much fun, I'm ready to go back already...
Thanks to everyone that made it out.
And, I want to personally thank Terri for helping with the pictures!
