Memorial Weekend, 2004

A few of us ventured out for the holiday weekend.  I started out early in hopes of beating the crowd on the trails.  As I started down Pinball, I noticed a lone vehicle.  Looks like this one had a bad night....

Later in the morning I ran over to see how things were going at the Waterfall.

It's no sweat for this guy!

Of course there is always the throttle happy kind.

Or the guy that just can't seem to keep his stuff together....
His assault finally ended when he taco'd the exhaust (check out the last pic)!

Now a few of the bigger rigs work on the right side.

After lunch it was time to check out the Rock Garden.
Of course Russ was around to add to the show.

Yes I got a little wheelin' in myself.
By noon, the temp and humidity made any shade very welcome..

I call this one 'Jeep on a rock'... :-)

Another Unimog to the rescue.  As you can see, we're back at the waterfall again.

Did I mention it was starting to get a little warm... ;-)

Someone else with a trophy from the weekend.

Russ's place was packed, but everyone seemed to be really scattered out.   No big crowds at any one place.  At least that's the way it was Saturday.   Hopefully everyone had a good time the rest of the weekend.
