Extreme 4 Wheelin'
Night Run, August 14th 2004

Night run in August is to beat the heat.  However, someone forgot to bring that part.  It just does not seem right to bring a jacket to an August run, but I'm NOT complaining!

Here Norm give a pep talk as everyone gathers up to head out.

First we go to the Rock Garden for a group shot.
Wow, 19 trucks, what a great turn out...

Not even on a trail yet, and already we have carnage...
Here Ken ties off the line to a broken caliper.

I guess brakes are going to be an issue tonight.  Steve breaks off the rotor from his pinion brake....

The ironic part is, read his shirt!
["Life is too short   to use your brakes"]

Off and running again, Ken is the first to tackle the Waterfall in the dark.

Robert has a flat tire to air up first, but once some air is added, he zips up the Waterfall faster than I can charge the flash on my camera....

Next is Tim in the buggy.  Not a problem here...

What's this?  Norm actually gets to drive tonight!
He makes a quick run up the right side.

Hurry Steve, what's left of a Chevy full size is hot on your tail...

We'll try a little different angle for the CJ...

Everyone has survived the Waterfall, so now it's time to move on to Little Blue.

What a great turn out.
Thanks to all that showed up and to Ken for being our fearless leader for the evening!
