Extreme 4 Wheelin'
Outlaw Adventures Park, Nov 12th 2005

It has not rained in months, wouldn't ya know it we would get wet on the way to the park.
Oh well, that's not going to scare us away.  We've got a great turn out and for November it's gonna be a nice day.

We've made it in and everyone is lined up ready to hit the trails.

The light rain was just enough to make everything VERY slick.
There's not going to be much crawling done today.

This is the first outing we've seen of Steve's new buggy.  He's ready to give it a workout on trails today.

As Steve finishes playing on the rock pile, Tim is working his way up the trail.

Next comes Norm.
This spot is not kind to the longer wheelbase vehicles.

Norm has to try another route up the hill.
Thanks to Dale, we've even got a little movie of Norm's final attack to show ya...
Norm makes it over the first obstical of the day.

Now Wes is ready to take the climb.

He made it up the hill, but the boulders at the top prove to be more of a problems for his TJ.

Now Walt gets a shot at the hill.

Next comes Terri.  But the rear gov-loc is not giving her the traction she needs for this line.

The rest of the group moves on up the trail as Terri makes it up the hill on another line.

Both Terri and Steve made it out to play today.

The group is stopped for a while doing the sign-up, so me and Holly find a hill climb to try.
Mark making a run at the hill.

This place is filled with cool optional spots to test yourself and your vehicle.

Looks like Jayson needs a little push in the tracker.

Phil switched to the CJ for this trip.  Looks like he's not having any problems getting around.

Oops, stopped for some repairs.  I spy Norm with the welding helmet.   Wonder what that could be about....

While Terri is stopped for the moment with a flat tire.  Nothing a hand full of plugs can't cure.

Ken's taken the drivers seat on Steve's buggy.

As the group works their way down the trail.

Earl and Steve take one of the optional routes up this hill.

We finish the circle back to the parking area and take a break for lunch.

After lunch, we are back out on another trail.

We soon come up on this cool optional spot between the huge rocks.   With the leaves, mud and wet rocks, everything is an extra tough challenge today.

Norm finally makes it thru with the help of some cable.

Next up is Tim.

It's slick enough he just bounces from one bad spot to another.
  Tim denied at the entrance.

With a few rocks and a lot of skinny peddle he finally makes it thru.
Tim makes it thru the entrance.

Next up is me and Holly.

Gotta love the sound of Swamper lugs popping on the slimy rocks...
 Mark working over the rocks.

Walt was next.  This is a spot that's not friendly to wide vehicles.

We've got quite a crowd gathered around for the show.

Jack and Jamie come up to see what all is going on, as Phil's gang prepares to move on.

On down the trail our leader shows us this nasty little drop off.

Guess Norm did not watch the demo close enough.
So he shows us what NOT to do on this spot....

TIMBER...

Everyone's fine.  Now all we have to do is figure out how to right this beast..

We finally position and anchor the Sami to pull Norm back over.
Dale even shot a little video of the event.

Not finished quite yet.  Our leader has a couple more spots to show us.

At this point I think everyone has had enough for the day, Jack looks to be getting a little restless..

Time to start working our way back to the trailers.

Looks like someone's about wore out from all the excitement.  And, Holly looks tired to... :)

Hey, turn you back for a minute and someone steals you spot on the trailer......
Jayson's trying to get a free ride back..

The parting shot comes from Holly.  This is a beautiful place to play.

There is way more challenges than you can see in just one day.
We will have to come back.  Maybe when it's not quite so slick...

Thanks to the folks at Outlaw Adventures Off-Road Park for showing us around.
